The Malibu Stainless Swim Platform Latch is a genuine latch assembly used on Malibu and Axis boats to secure the swim platform / wedge access (trap) door. It provides a positive locking point for the rear swim deck access panel, ensuring the compartment remains securely closed while still allowing quick access to the Power Wedge and related hardware beneath the platform.

This upgraded stainless version replaces earlier plastic-style latch designs, improving durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability in a high-moisture transom environment.
